At Journey2Ultra I believe everyone is a runner, some of us just need a little help in starting the journey to take that first step. Others are already well on the journey and are looking to improve their performances but are not sure how.
Having previously benefited myself from quality coaching, I know what a difference it can make. What can give you the confidence I know what I'm talking about?
I'm still running myself, although a bit slower these days, and love hitting the trails. I coach athletes online and also take a couple of local running groups. All are training for various distances and events or even just for fun.
I've completed numerous Ultra Marathons, Trail and Road Races, building the experience on what it takes physically and mentally to reach the finish line, or not in some cases. Yep we all DNF (did not finish) at some point, and that's OK, even this can be a great learning experience!
Backing up this experience with a thirst for scientific knowledge around endurance sports, and looking to always improve my knowledge, I am an Athletics Australia, Level 3 Performance Development Coach in Trail and Ultra Marathons. This makes sure your plans are written with the most up-to-date training methods.
